Contents:
This Project describes a SMART SPEAKING GLOVE to impart an easier means of communication between speech impaired people and normal people using synthesized speech. It is a project which aims to bridge the gap between deaf and dumb community and normal masses. This Project is not only limited to Gesture to text and speech, further we are using the concept of GSM and Home Automation that will be controlled through specified gestures. This project converts gesture movement into text and speech. A smart glove is incorporated with LDR sensors whose resistance value changes according to the gesture specified by the user. This gesture information is processed by the Arduino Mega microcontroller and corresponding voice output is given through speaker in the desired language. In case of emergency, a message can be sent to the guardian through GSM. In the further add on we are working on the concept of Home Automation through gesture by controlling fan, light and buzzer.
